If you're seeking a peaceful countryside getaway in a historic Georgian house, look no further than Moate Lodge. The charming ambiance and stunning Irish countryside views are a delight, especially during sunset. The friendly and attentive staff provide excellent service, offering delicious food options and comfortable beds. The size of the rooms is spacious, and the shower is amazing. The hosts, Mary and Raymond, are incredibly knowledgeable and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Despite limited modern communication tools, the lack of WiFi adds to the authenticity and encourages guests to find alternative solutions. Moate Lodge truly offers a unique and restful experience.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly staff. They were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The spacious and comfortable rooms were a big plus, with plenty of space for our family to relax and unwind. The freshly cooked breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. Additionally, the location was perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. We also enjoyed the fact that there was ample parking available, making it convenient for us to bring our own vehicle.
The payment process could have been made clearer on the hotel's website. It would have been helpful to know in advance that payment would be made on-site rather than online.
